Our Team

We are a dynamic and passionate team of young, patriotic Kenyans driven by the vision of a free and just Kenya viewing this at a Pan African lens. Our collective voice rises against the systemic challenges that threaten our nation—unemployment, lack of essential needs, increased corruption, restricted political freedoms, and inadequate healthcare. Together, we strive to uphold the Constitution, protect the sanctity of life, and defend the freedom of expression for every citizen.

VALENTINE GITHAE

Valentine Githae is driven by a lifelong passion for justice and leadership. Her journey began early as a Scout Commander from the age of 5 to 17. In high school, she served as a Dorm Prefect, Chairlady of the Rangers club and chairlady of the arts club, and at Mount Kenya University (MKU), she was elected Organizing Secretary in the student leadership. A fearless Pan-Africanist, Valentine firmly believes in the power of Pan-Africanism and a better, united Africa. After relocating to the diaspora, she continued to be a bold advocate for justice, using her voice to challenge inequality and uplift her community. In June 2024, following the Gen Z movement in Kenya, she helped mobilize the DMV diaspora—alongside others—to lead three major protests, amplifying the collective call for change and has not stopped. Valentine graduated magna cum laude from American University with a degree in Political Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Global Governance and Development. She frequently hosts community panels and is never shy about voicing bold or unpopular opinions in pursuit of progress.

Valentine founded The 6.25 Movement with the vision of sparking impactful change—both in the present and for future generations across Kenya, Africa and the afro-diaspora.
